A native of Newark, New Jersey Tarvenia “T” Jones grew up the youngest of five children and the only girl in the family. She attended Science High school where she was a star track and field athlete. She continued her education at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts where she continued her track and field career. After college, T returned to her roots in Newark, New Jersey where she labored in the corporate world for such companies in Customer and Client Relations at Merrill Lynch, Prudential and ADP. But the corporate environment was never T’s dream.

Not one to waste time, T Jones decided her love for entertainment would better be served if she relocated to the West Coast. She packed her bags, loaded up her car and made her trek across country. After setting up shop in Los Angeles, California, she immersed herself in production; working as a Production Assistant and Logger for Greystone Communications. She eventually became an assistant to Executive Producer, Brian Gadinsky. After a stint as Brian’s assistant, T Jones moved up to Associate Producer alongside Brian and Mark Burnett on a reality series for USA Network, Combat Missions. Soon after T became Senior Associate Producer for shows such as American Fighter Pilot (CBS). After wrapping production on American Fighter Pilot, T Jones was tapped to be a producer on the first season of American Idol (Fox).

She has since been the Senior Producer on the hit daytime talk show, The Real, The Show Runner of the TVOne hit docu-series, Rickey Smiley For real as well as the creator and Executive Producer of a pilot for BET alongside famed life coach and motivational speaker, Lisa Nichols. Her list of credits also include Program Consultant and Show Runner for two successful series for, NuvoTV/Fuse, Stand Up and Deliver and Curvy Girls. She has also lent her producing talents to the OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) hit series, Iyanla: Fix My Life. From American Idol to Sunday Best (BET) to The Benefactor (ABC), T Jones brings a unique charm and charisma to every production experience. She is known for her fast wit and hard work ethic. Her Newark, New Jersey roots helps to keep her grounded as she continues her journey to become one of the biggest power players in Hollywood.
